Terms and Conditions<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Introduction<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

These terms and conditions are here to safeguard you as a customer\nof the services offered by Fern Sanctuary, but also to protect Fern Sanctuary. These\nTerms and Conditions shall constitute the entire agreement between you and Fern\nSanctuary in relation to your use of this website and services. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

The term \u2018us\u2019 \u2018our\u2019 \u2018practitioner\u2019 \u2018Fern Sanctuary\u2019 refers\nto the owner of the website and Fern Sanctuary.<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

The term \u2018you\u2019 \u2018customer\u2019 \u2018participant\u2019 are used interchangeably\nand refer to those viewing the website and purchasing services from Fern\nSanctuary. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

The term \u2018Appointment\u2019 \u2018event\u2019 ‘place’ \u2013 covers all services including\nworkshops, group work and one to one sessions; in-person and online. Unless otherwise\nstated. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

 <\/b><\/p>\n\n

Fees and Payments<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>\n\n

A deposit payment is required to secure your\nappointment\/place on all services. This must be paid 24hours after booking or\nyour booking will be cancelled. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Full payment is due a minimum of 48 hours prior to the\nappointment\/event, unless prior agreement has been made with your practitioner,\nto pay on-site. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

All deposits are not fully refundable \u2013 except at the discretion\nof Fern Sanctuary. Please see the service below for further details. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

We appreciate life happens, and will do our upmost to limit\nthe financial impact on participants. However, this is a business and cost will\nstill be incurred by Fern Sanctuary that will impact support available. We ask\nfor timely and open communication to support this process.   <\/o:p><\/p>


<\/p>\n\n

One to one appointments<\/i>: <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Cancellations over 48 hours are transferable to a mutually\nagreeable date\/time. If no appointment can be made, within 4 months of the\noriginal appointment, then deposit will be refunded less \u00a35 for administration\nfees. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Cancellations made within 24 hours are not refundable and\nsubject to full payment. <\/o:p><\/p>


<\/p>\n\n

Events (organised by Fern Sanctuary – for private events, see below):<\/o:p><\/i><\/p>\n\n

This includes group sound healing sessions, indoors and\noutdoor sessions, retreat days.<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Cancellations over 48 hours are refundable less the deposit.\nIf the place can be filled then deposit may be returned, this is at the\ndiscretion of Fern Sanctuary. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Cancellations less than 24 hours will receive no refund and\nmay be liable for the full cost of the event. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

If an event is cancelled by Fern Sanctuary, participants\nwill be offered a transfer to another date & time, or a full refund. <\/o:p><\/p>


<\/p>\n\n

Reiki Attunement Workshops<\/o:p><\/i><\/p>\n\n

Full payment due 7 (calendar) days prior to workshop, unless\nprior arrangements have been made. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Cancellations over 7 days will be offered a mutually agreeable\nalternative date within 4 months of original workshop date. If no date is available,\nrefund will be given minus the deposit.  <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Cancellations less than 7 days prior to workshop \u2013 deposit is\nnot refundable and participant is liable for full cost of workshop.  <\/o:p><\/p>


<\/p>\n\n

Private\/group events<\/o:p><\/p>

Non-refundable Deposit is required 7 (calendar) days after participant receiving the booking form.  The booking is not secure until the deposit and completed booking form has been received. Fern Sanctuary will make you aware if another enquiry is received for the same date, within those 7 days. <\/o:p><\/p>

Full payment is due 4 weeks prior to the event, unless otherwise stated. Payment to be completed via bank transfer or payment link that will be provided. Invoices available on request.<\/o:p><\/p>

Lead participant\/event planner is responsible for updating Fern Sanctuary if anything changes regarding participant numbers\/health\/event details, as soon as reasonably possible. No changes can be made within 10 days of the event, when final numbers are to be confirmed. <\/o:p><\/p>

Lead participant\/event planner is responsible for making Fern Sanctuary aware of any contraindicated health conditions appropriate to the service being offered. These will be outlined in the booking form. Fern Sanctuary will not be responsible for any negative outcome due to not being made aware prior to the event. Individuals are responsible for their health and wellbeing at all times, and are encouraged to discuss with their medical practitioner prior to the event if they have any concerns. <\/o:p><\/p>

In the event that Fern Sanctuary needs to cancel the event, a refund minus 20% will be offered, along with an alternative date, if appropriate. If Fern Sanctuary is aware of a suitable alternative provider for the service being offered, they will contact them to see if cover can be arranged. <\/o:p><\/p>

Payment plans<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Payment plans are available at the discretion of Fern\nSanctuary. The agreement will be completed in writing (usually email). With the\nfull amount due prior to the appointment\/event. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

If the full amount is not received prior to the event, and\nno communication has been received then place will be forfeit and no refund available.\n<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

 <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Allergies \/ Dietary Requirements<\/b> – <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

If you have any allergies, it is your responsibility to\ninform your practitioner upon booking and prior to your appointment\/event. Please\nalso make sure that any treatment you may need is made known to your practitioner\nprior to starting the event (i.e. epi pen location). <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

After Sound Healing sessions and on retreat days, snacks and\nsweet treats are provided. It is your responsibility to inform your practitioner\nprior to attendance at your appointment\/event, if you require an alternative provision\n(including vegan diets).<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Fern Sanctuary is not responsible for any allergic reaction\nas a result of not being made aware prior to the appointment\/event. Fern\nSanctuary will take reasonable steps to limit the possibly of cross\ncontamination, but is not responsible for any cross contamination during the\nappointment\/event as a result of other participants.<\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

GDPR<\/b> \u2013 (General Data Protection Regulation) <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

All data is used and stored in regulation with the GDPR\nGuidelines, according to the Data Protection Act 2018. (GDPR Policies\/Procedures\nare available on request). <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Safety<\/o:p><\/b><\/p>\n\n

All participants are responsible for their own safety and\nwellbeing during appointments\/events. If you feel uncomfortable in any of the\nsessions you are free to move or leave (as long as you make the practitioner aware\nyou are leaving). The practitioner will check in with you after the event. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

If there are additional hazards i.e. open flame\/campfire, a\nrisk assessment will be completed and you will be provided with additional\ninstructions during the opening of the event. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

I have a background in Occupational Therapy, which means I\nam trained to facilitate group work and aware of both physical and mental\nhealth conditions and how they can impact our day-to-day life. However, I am\nnot practicing as an OT and that is not what my services are offering. I say\nthis to inform you of my previous experience and to offer a level of trust in\nmy skills as a holistic practitioner. I\u2019m also first aid trained and have an\nawareness of safeguarding. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

I am not a trained counsellor or mental health worker. If\nyou require this level of input, please see your GP or appropriate health care\nprofessional. I am here to hold space for you and offer support and enable you\nto find your inner wisdom.  <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

The tools I use and offer should not replace conventional\nmedicine if this is required. I am not a \u2018healer\u2019 and make no guarantees to change\nyour current reality. I have personal belief in the tools I use and offer, and\nhave completed the appropriate training\/attunements. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

I urge you to be mindful when seeking a Spiritual\/Holistic\/Alternative\npractitioner and trust your instincts. If you are unsure, please ask to see any\nappropriate certification or insurance documentation. (This is available for\nFern Sanctuary on request and without judgement). Remember this is an\nunregulated \u2018market\u2019 and not all practitioners have your best interests at the\nheart of what they offer. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Fern Sanctuary is committed to creating a safe space, and\nyou are encouraged to open conversation with us if you encounter anything that\ngoes against this principle. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n

Fern Sanctuary openly welcomes everybody, as they are; including\nthe LGBTQIA+, Disabled, BME, regardless of race or religion. It is expected\nthat if you participate in any of the services offered that you will respect\nthose present, and hold any information shared, confidentially. <\/o:p><\/p>\n\n
